Win Thin & Associates was established by U Win Thin in 1958. Our founder led the Myanmar auditing field for 68 years, dedicating his knowledge and experience to the next generation — with the dream that all Myanmar auditors receive international recognition.

Built on strategic global alliances, the firm has worked alongside Arthur Andersen & Co., S.C., SGV International Ltd., DFK International and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), always seeking to provide the best service to its clients.

1958Founded by U Win Thin as Win Thin & Co., later renamed Win Thin & Associates.
1995Appointed sole representative firm in Myanmar of Arthur Andersen & Co., S.C. (AA).
1997Consulting business transferred to SGV-WINTHIN Consulting Ltd., a joint venture with SGV International Ltd.
2002Appointed representative firm in Myanmar of DFK International, London.
2003Restructured as Win Thin & Associates Ltd on 30 September 2003.
2012Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

WIN Consulting Limited

Incorporated on 10 February 2000 and a member firm of CAS Global Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) since 2021, WCL is the one-stop service centre for professional services other than audit and assurance — business advisory, taxation, accounting, secretarial, investment, due diligence, trade mark registration and winding-up services.

Win Thin Academy

Established on 28 October 2018, the specialized learning arm of the group provides effective trainings in Accounting, Finance, Audit & Assurance, Management, Investment, Banking, Marketing, Human Resource and Procurement.
